Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE) has conducted Degree ++ Program course 'How To Get Your Self Employed (HTGYE)' successfully. A total of 3 series has been implemented for the 2015/2016 session as follows.
1. Series 1 - 13 and 14 November 2015.
2. Series 2 - 26 and 27 February 2016.
3. Series 3 - 8 and 9 April 2016.
Details of the implementation such as schedule, venue, costing and the number of registered participants can be found in HERE. For Series 2 and 3, there is little change in the implementation of this program in which the two series is handled by Intel, Malaysia where students are exposed to a work experience by the Manager (Engineer) from various departments. However, the content of programs such as resume preparation, interview preparation and how to dress during the interview (first impression) remain unchanged. What's unique about this program is, Intel (Malaysia) immediately offer a job to the students who excel during interviews to work with them after graduation. A total of 57 students have been offered jobs at Intel (Malaysia) after the expiry of the two series. Indirectly, this program can benefit students in building a career after graduation.
